Dear Seniors and Families,
Thank you for being patient with us, as we continue to navigate through this challenging time. We have been working hard to come up with a plan to celebrate our 2020 Graduates, that will meet the Social Distancing guidelines set forth by our Governor and will keep our families safe.
We are pleased to be able to share with you the plan that has been approved by our Superintendent.
For all Seniors that meet the graduation requirements by June 1, 2020, we are planning a Facebook Live Graduation Celebration on June 25, 2020 at 6:00 pm.
The important deadlines
May 29, 2020
Final Deadline for Senior Graduation Application is due.
**This form must be filled out for those who will finish by June 1 to participate in the June 25 Celebration.
June 15, 17 and 19, 2020
Staff will be “parading” to student homes to hand-deliver your student's cap, gown, and tassel, a WAY SW- Class of 2020 Yard sign and a Graduate gift bag. We will make arrangements with you 24 hours in advance to schedule our “Senior Staff Parade” by your home.
June 22, 2020
Cap and Gown pictures with your Class of 2020 sign are due to Mrs. Jocelyn at- jocelyn.farkas@wayprogram.net for the Facebook Live Graduation Celebration Slideshow.
June 25, 2020- 6:30 PM
Facebook Live Graduation Celebration for Class of 2020. Please join in for the ceremony, from your home. More details will be provided soon.
**Diplomas will be mailed to the student’s home on June 26, 2020.**
The June 22, 2020 Celebration will include all students that have completed their Graduation Requirements between January 1 and June 1, 2020. Students that do not meet the June 1 deadline, will be invited to participate in the December 2020 commencement celebration.
